Perpetual Novena for World Peace

Feel Free to inquire about church membership.
We have a growing parish and a Community of warm, happy people
who would love to have you worship and receive the Sacraments with them.

We give all inquirers the same advice,

Invest an hour of your time

and then see what you think?

So many people in Rhode Island are denied Baptism,
Communion and the Sacraments for themselves
and their children for a number of man-made reasons.

Many people are discouraged at every turn, and subsequently, turned off
to the "Catholicism" they see in their parishes.
"Catholicism" practiced without a degree of simple Christianity
or common courtesy.

Why the hypocrisy of welcoming the divorced and remarried into parishes
which offers you no rights or privileges other than parish support?
A parish which sees your new relationship as completely sinful
and devoid of God's love regardless of how it happened.
To never receive Communion again?
To be denied even a Catholic burial after years of parish support?

Truly, this question must be asked?

WHY would anyone tolerate such treatment
and have to explain to loving children why their mother or father
cannot go with them to receive Holy Communion; what the
church thinks of their marriage and still more sadly,
what the church thinks of the birth of these innocent children?
